Global offers a wide selection of high quality
Curtis/Albright Contactors. All contactors are derived from our basic ranges and
can be specifically tailored to suit each Customer's requirement.
Contactors range up to 1800 Ampere maximum continuous
thermal current. The thermal current ratings stated are dependent on the
application. We have technical staff to assist with application specification.
This heavy duty DC monoblock reversing contactor is a new addition to
the SW60 range of 80 Ampere Contactors. The DC66P is sealed to IP66
standards and is ideally suitable for use in small battery powered
winches, vehicle mounted cranes, small electric vehicles, etc. Thermal
current rating (100%): Up to 80 Ampere
The new SW225 has been specifically designed to mount within the
confines of a 1U rack. This bus-mountable compact contactor follows the
recognized design of the SW250 series contactor. To suit the limitations
of space of a 1U rack, the coil connections are supplied as flying leads
(up to 125mm)

Options let you tailor a product to your
application
Auxiliary contacts. A set
of auxiliary contacts (one normally open, one normally closed)
mechanically linked to the main contacts. Magnetic blowouts.
Protects against sustained arcs; recommended at 48 volts DC and
higher. Coils for
continuous operation. Allow continuous
energization of the coil, compared with standard coils rated for
intermittent operation (ON time under 70 percent and less than
15 minutes).
Mounting brackets. A wide selection of standard
brackets for easy installation anywhere; customized brackets and
hardware for special applications are available. Coil suppression.
Diode suppresses voltage spikes when coil is de-energized.
Because this slows the contacts drop-out time, resistor/diode
combinations are available to minimize this effect. Enclosed top cover.
Protects contacts from dust and other contaminants (not
recommended with use of magnetic blowouts). AC operated coil.
DC coil fitted with bridge rectifier for use with AC power.
Large diameter contact tips.
Increased surface area minimizes contact corrosion from high
switching frequencies. Lockable mechanism.
A manual disconnect switch that – once engaged to the OFF
position – can only be rearmed with the supervisor’s key. Metal enclosed contactors.
Available for industrial vehicle applications requiring UL-EE
rating.
